Mission Statement

To provide a solid framework, which facilitates the effective administration and dispensation of justice by the Supreme Court and to ensure the proper registration, preservation and retrieval of records for the use of the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

 

Vision Statement

The Registry Department seeks to develop a highly trained, dedicated, professional and efficient workforce to facilitate the dispensation of justice through the High Court of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and to cater expeditiously to the information needs of all clients through the development of a modern, automated, reliable and effective registry system.

 

Programme Objectives

This programme is concerned with the dispensation of justice by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and the administration of the Registry of the said High Court of St.Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Registry is divided into three sections:

  • Civil Registry - registers Births, Deaths, Adoptions & Marriages
  • High Court - handles Assizes, Court related matters, Divorces
  • Annex - registers deeds, powers of attorney, bills of sale and estates
